Kilimanjaro. The Grand Tetons. Mt. Washington. Chocorua. The Mettlehorn. Big or small, there is nothing like reaching the summit. As my son and I were flying to Tanzania, the pilot said "We've now reached our cruising altitude of 19,000 feet. And I said to my son "See, tomorrow all we have to do is hike up as high as this airplane and then hike back down. And we did.
